What is individual therapy?
Private 1:1 sessions where we talk about the issues and challenges that matter most to you. We’ll explore beliefs, thoughts, and experiences that have held you back or continue to limit your future. We’ll working on improving your relationship with yourself, community and the world.
Scheduling the Appointment
The first person you speak with will be one of my receptionists. They will collect your contact information, some general information about what you need and schedule your appointment.
I’ll email you the welcome packet within 2 days of your appointment.
I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation for anyone with questions about the therapy or my process.
- On the day of your appointment, we will review the forms from your welcome packet and do our initial intake.
Each session is 60 minutes.
The first two are spent completing initial paperwork, screenings, and learning more about how you think therapy can help.
The remaining sessions explore all the layers of your story and current definition of self.
During these sessions, I ask a lot of questions, provide some education, and use a lot of exercises to help you discover how to create the life you desire.
Each session ends with a plan for the upcoming week and scheduling our next session.
