About Kellee

Your guide on the journey

The Story

I am Kellee Watkins, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Coach, and Aspiring Counselor Educator (just a dissertation away!) with 20 years of experience as a professional helper. But before I am a therapist, I am a human who understands that life is messy.

The challenges I faced during my own journey shaped who I am today. I founded Wisdom for the Journey because I believe that we aren’t meant to walk through fire alone. My goal is to help you engage your heart, develop strategies to overcome obstacles, and create balance in every area of your life—mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

The Fun Stuff

When I’m not in the office, I love reading romance novels, watching who-dun-its, and playing Sudoku! I am an AMC Stubs A-lister and will watch any genre of movie, except Horror. And if you see me driving, don’t be alarmed by the singing — I have no plans of trying out for Star Search..

My Guideposts

I believe that:
Authenticity leads to freedom.
You are Enough just as you are.
Community is essential for growth.
Self-Compassion is a superpower, not a weakness.
